TAMPA, FL – Special Olympics Florida-Hillsborough County is the selected charity partner for the Best Damn Race® taking place on February 6, 2016, in Safety Harbor.

“Special Olympics Florida-Hillsborough County is incredibly honored to be the beneficiary of the Best Damn Race,” said Director Sarah Taylor. “Together we can spread awareness around the Tampa Bay community as to what Special Olympics programs offer as well as raise funds for people with intellectual disabilities. All ages are encouraged to train and compete in the organization’s year-round competitions as well as engage in programs for healthcare, leadership and inclusion.”

Best Damn Race® is a running series created for runners by runners. The goal is to provide a big-race experience at a local-race price. It doesn’t matter if participants are an elite runner, first timer, walker, or using a baby jogger, Best Damn Race wants you to have the best DAMN race experience! The post race is a celebration of all athletes!
