The Best Damn Race (BDR) is coming to Orlando in 2014. Race Organizer Nick Zivolich decided to expand to the Orlando market due to the success of the BDR Safety Harbor. The Best Damn Race features a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and 5K plus 10K challenge and gives participants the opportunity to register for $1 dollar.

A former UCF graduate, Zivolich chose Orlando based on his years going to school and working in Orlando.

“It was an easy decision to pick Orlando as our next race destination. We ran a poll on facebook and the overwhelming response from our runners was a race in the Orlando Market. As a proud UCF graduate with knowledge of the area, we are confident we will bring the community a great race,” said Zivolich.

The inaugural Best Damn Race 2013 was the first race to open registration with a “ticket-master style” registration that gave runners the chance to register for only $1dollar. Zivolich will use that same formula for Orlando.

In addition to the chance to register for $1dollar, BDR is buying the race photos for anyone who registers during the first two days of open registration (11/1/13 & 11/2/13).

“People love their race photos but hate paying $60 to get them. For everyone who registers for BDR Orlando 2014 within the first 48 hours, I’m going to pay for their race photos,” said Zivolich.

The $59.99 Digital Download package from J Ryan Photography includes a download of all digital photos that are captured of runners with the video of them crossing the finish line.

The launch of BDR Safety Harbor on May 1, 2013, received over 1,500 registrations in the first 48 hours.  With the anticipated registration frenzy, Best Damn Race suggests registrants get on early for a chance at the $1dollar, $5, $10, or $15 spots. Registration will open on Friday, November 1, 2013, at 12pm.

BDR is limiting the size of each race to provide a quality race experience. The 5K will be limited to 2,000 registrations. The 10K will be limited to 1,500 registrations. The Half Marathon will be limited to 1,500 registrations, and the 5K + 10K Challenge will be limited to 100 Registrations.

To ensure a spot in BDR 2014 and get free race photos make sure to register promptly at 12pm on Friday November 1, 2013.
